Leilan's Blog

Hi, I’m Leilan Zhang.

I used to work mostly on natural language processing and deep learning; these days, I spend more time thinking about computer graphics, physical simulation, and GPU programming.

I’m especially interested in problems that sit somewhere between math and systems: geometry, simulation, differentiable methods, compilers, and parallel computing — the kind of things that are elegant in theory and satisfying to make work in practice.

This blog is where I leave notes from things I learn, build, and occasionally obsess over.

Three-body novel fan. Cyclist, hiker, and lover of the outdoors. Also quietly fascinated by Chinese history.
